How to order

We aren't taking orders for the desktop at the moment as we are currently running some trials before the final release.

Please check your computer is compatible before registering by testing the ISO image. To do this download the image then burn it to a CD. Then make the computer boot from the CD, not your internal hard drive. Once you are at the start screen you will see a help icon in the top left corner of the screen. Click on it then click on the test link that appears in the window. If all is well you will see a page that says your internet connection works. The title bar of the window will also read "Internet connection works" not "Welcome to gridwell Desktop CD". If you are unable to do this your computer is incompatible or you are using an incorrect internet connection for the desktop.

The desktop currently only works with broadband ethernet connections.
